About MaxQ
MaxQ is a game about running a private space company. You take launch contracts, decide what to fly them on, and live with the results. Expendable rockets are cheap up front and gone after one flight. Reusable ones cost several times as much, then pay for themselves across twenty flights — provided you keep bringing them home.
The real decision is what to do with the money. Customer contracts pay once. Your own satellites pay every day, forever, but you have to give up the fee to put them up. Almost every interesting choice in the game is some version of that trade.
This is an early build. Launches are currently resolved from the odds shown on the pad; a hands-on flight sim, lunar and Martian bases, and a global leaderboard are all on the way.
